Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and League Locks LLC (“LeagueLocks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the LeagueLocks website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What LeagueLocks is (and is not)

LeagueLocks is a social tracking and record-keeping application for groups of friends who follow sports and bet together. LeagueLocks is NOT a sportsbook, casino, gambling operator, bookmaker, betting exchange, fantasy-sports contest operator, escrow service, payment processor, or money transmitter. No wagers are placed through the Service, LeagueLocks never holds, collects, transfers, or pays out money of any kind, and no gambling occurs on the platform. Any betting activity recorded in the Service takes place entirely off-platform, at licensed sportsbooks, by users acting at their own discretion and at their own risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age — or the minimum legal sports-wagering age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher — and legally capable of entering a binding contract to use the Service. You are solely responsible for determining whether sports wagering is lawful where you are located and for complying with all laws that apply to you. The Service is intended for users in the United States; if you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for local compliance.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate registration information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully, or that poses risk to LeagueLocks or other users.

5. League activity; no escrow, no settlement, no verification

Prize pools, dues, wagers, ledgers, and payouts displayed in the Service are records that your league maintains about itself, entered by your league's members. LeagueLocks does not verify, audit, guarantee, escrow, custody, or settle any amounts between members, and has no obligation or ability to enforce any arrangement among league members. Any financial arrangement within a league is solely between its members, and disputes between members are yours alone to resolve. You are responsible for ensuring your league's private arrangement complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

6. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including unlawful gambling or bookmaking; (b) use the Service in connection with any commercial betting operation or to accept or broker wagers from others; (c) scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service; (d) reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its security features; (e) impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; (f) upload malicious code; or (g) access another user's account without authorization.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (messages, images, league names, bet slips, and similar material, collectively “User Content”). You grant League Locks LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your User Content solely as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights to the User Content you post and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior: the app provides in-chat tools to report any message and to hide any member, we review reports within 24 hours, and we remove violating content and may suspend or eject offending users. We may remove User Content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.

8. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@leaguelocks.com with the subject “DMCA Notice” that includes: identification of the copyrighted work; the location of the allegedly infringing material; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including removal of infringing material and termination of repeat infringers where appropriate.

9. Intellectual property; third-party marks

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and the LeagueLocks name, logo, and shield, is owned by League Locks LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms. NFL team names, logos, sportsbook names (such as FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars), ESPN, and other third-party marks referenced in the Service are the property of their respective owners. LeagueLocks is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, any team, any sportsbook, or any data provider.

10. Odds, sports data, and editorial content; not advice

Lines, odds, totals, schedules, scores, injury reports, and similar data displayed in the Service are supplied by third parties and provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Articles, guides, statistics, and other editorial content on the Service are general information and entertainment — they are NOT betting advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to place any wager, and past results (including any historical trends we publish) do not predict future outcomes. You are solely responsible for any betting decision you make.

11. Advertising and third-party links

The Service may display advertising served by third parties, including Google AdSense, and may contain links to third-party websites and services, including sportsbooks and data providers. Advertisements and links are not endorsements. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, products, or services; your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that party. Advertising vendors may use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. If the Service ever includes affiliate links, we will disclose that placement contains affiliate content.

12. Responsible gaming

Sports betting involves real financial risk and should be entertainment, never a source of income. If gambling stops being fun for you or someone in your league, help exists: call or text 1-800-GAMBLER, or visit ncpgambling.org. See our Responsible Gaming page for warning signs, self-exclusion resources, and how LeagueLocks is designed to encourage fixed, budgeted play.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DATA (INCLUDING ODDS, SCORES, RECORDS, OR LEDGER FIGURES) IS ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEAGUE LOCKS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR MONEY WAGERED OR CONTRIBUTED TO ANY LEAGUE POOL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY BETTING ACTIVITY CONDUCTED OFF-PLATFORM BY YOU OR YOUR LEAGUE, ANY DISPUTE AMONG LEAGUE MEMBERS, OR ANY INACCURACY IN DISPLAYED DATA — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

15. Assumption of risk

You acknowledge that sports wagering carries inherent financial risk, that outcomes are uncertain, and that you may lose any money you or your league choose to wager off-platform. You assume all such risk. Nothing in the Service — including records, statistics, articles, suggested wager amounts, or projections — creates any expectation of profit.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless League Locks LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Service; your User Content; your violation of these Terms or of any law; your betting activity; or any dispute between you and other members of your league or any third party.

17. Dispute resolution; arbitration; class-action waiver

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may (a) bring an individual claim in small-claims court, or (b) seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property. YOU AND LEAGUELOCKS EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing contact@leaguelocks.com with the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your state of residence mandatorily applies. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, legal risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 10, and 13–18) survive.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service.

21. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and League Locks LLC regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to you may be provided in the app or by email.

22. Contact

Questions about these Terms: contact@leaguelocks.com. The Service is operated by League Locks LLC, a United States limited liability company.
