Everything about running your league. Can't find it? Email contact@leaguelocks.com.
Sign up, tap Create League, and walk through three steps: name your league and pick the sport, set the money (dues per member, weekly bet size, season length, winnings split), then review and create. You become the commissioner. Everything you set can be changed later in Settings.
Every league has one invite link (and a short invite code). Tap Invite and share it in your group chat — invitees see a preview of the league (name, prize pool, who's in) before they sign up. If the commissioner imported a fantasy league, joiners claim their fantasy team on the way in.
Leagues run best with 4–20 members. The prize pool math assumes a full league, so the app shows an actual (collected dues) number and a projected (full league) number until everyone's in and paid.
No. LeagueLocks is free. League dues are your crew's own money, tracked for you — none of it goes to us.
Each week one member — rotating through the whole league — is on the clock. They submit 3 picks using live sportsbook lines (spreads, moneylines, totals, props, or parlays). You'll get a notification and an email when it's your turn, including your league's picks deadline.
Once picks are in, voting opens for everyone except the proposer — one member, one vote. The league can see who has voted (but not for what) while voting is open; votes go public after the winner locks. Voting closes automatically at your league's deadline.
The earliest-proposed pick rides. That rule is shown right on the voting card so there are no surprises, and the commissioner is alerted when a week closes with zero votes.
If the picks deadline passes with nothing proposed, the week is marked “no picks,” the turn passes, and the next member goes on the clock. The wager for that week stays in the prize pool.
Picks whose games have kicked off can't be voted in or locked — the app validates games at proposal time, again when voting closes, and again at placement. A voided pick falls back to the next-highest vote-getter.
With your league — never with us. Dues are collected however your crew already handles money, and the treasurer places each week's bet at your league's own licensed sportsbook. LeagueLocks records every dollar in an append-only ledger: dues in, wagers out, payouts back. The app is the scorekeeper, not the bank.
A fixed portion of total dues (weekly bet × number of weeks) is set aside as the season betting budget; the rest stays in the prize pool. Wins add straight back into the pool, so end the season above the dues you collected and everybody profits.
One trusted member is the treasurer: when a pick locks, they place it at the sportsbook, record where and at what odds, and upload a photo of the slip as proof. Results show an “Unverified” badge until the slip is attached. Commissioners can record a placement on the treasurer's behalf only through an audited override.
Your league chooses how much of each win rolls into next week's bet versus going back to the prize pool. Rolling winnings forward makes streaks compound — a $20 bet can become a $40 one after a win. Change it anytime in Settings.
Placed bets are always settled by your treasurer or commissioner — the app announces finals but humans confirm the money. If a locked pick's game finishes before any placement was recorded, the app closes the week automatically with the real result and moves on, with no money moved.
Commissioner: league settings, deadlines, roles, starting weeks, closing votes, and an audited placement override. Treasurer: places bets, records placements, uploads slips, settles results. Members: propose when on the clock, vote every week, and talk trash in chat.
The commissioner sets a weekly picks deadline and a votes deadline (day + time, in the league's timezone) in Settings. The app enforces them automatically: reminders go out ahead of each, voting closes itself on time, and missed pick deadlines skip the week.
Yes — commissioners can reorder or re-randomize the rotation for all upcoming weeks from Settings.
The Standings & History tab: the leaderboard (weeks chosen, record, win %, and net dollars added to the pool per member) sits on top, with the week-by-week story — every result and payout — below it.
The moments that matter: a new week starting, being on the clock, voting opening, a closes-soon reminder if your vote isn't in, the pick locking, the bet being placed, the bet going live at kickoff, and the final result with the updated prize pool. In-app notifications always; email for the big external moments.

Only your league's members. Bet slips live in private storage scoped to your league, and member emails are visible only to the commissioner. Invite links show a limited public preview (league name, member first names, pool size) so invitees know what they're joining.
